Need information

I am new to the W world, but I just wanted to confirm if the hole thats located on the top of the block where the intake sits is it suppose to be there? Can anyone advise me .

It's sit under the oil blow tube

It's so the oil that you pour into the oil filler tube can get to the pan.

Well the QB with 690 heads and a 2x4 intake you got great power posabilities right there.
400 hp plus no problem. If you take pics of heads on all sides and the block with heads off we can droool oh I mean look at the pistons and even tell more. We love picttures as air fair down to see you is not in the budget.
