New Cast Iron Paint or Clear Over?

I am blasting all my suspension parts on my 60 and had a question. The few parts I have finished I have applied an etching primer then Eastwood spray grey. Would that be what u would suggest over clearing the parts with a satin or flat clear? After blasting I took on piece and scuffed with a red scotch brute and it looks more naturally bare than the grey paint. Would the clear hold up over time? Didn't know if it would crack or peel off over time.

I wouldn't be concerned about the durability of the clear if it's good clear coat.

I don't know where you are located but Summit sells Cast Blast that looks like cast iron when applied. It is meant for exhaust manifolds but I use it for other items that I want to look natural.
