Hi,
My name's Alex from Denver,CO. I've been a fan of the w motors for awhile so I figured it would be a good thing to join up and learn more about the 348-409 cars/motors! Right now I'm putting together a 1929 Ford Model A truck (half briggs/half AA truck), it's a hot rod kinda like they used to build them.... Right now It's got a 350/350 in it but, I'm trying to put a 348 stroker in it sometime maybe this winter. I just picked up a $50 "builder" 348 which was sitting out on a farm field for years, it's stuck and needs to be totally rebuilt. So I figure it's a good stroker candidate. We'll see how far I get, a stock rebuild would be fine too. The little truck dosen't weigh much over 1800lbs so more power isn't really needed for this daily driver! I can very easily roast the tires in 1 and 2 even with a 2bbl 350 v8!
