New to 409’s.

I don’t have goals for this at this point. I have always wanted a 409. My Dad had on in a 55 and then in a 37 Fiat. Ran high 9’s back in the 60’s. So I have always been a real fan of the 409. I just think the are cool.

I have 2 cars it can go into. I have my 56 wagon and my 55 Chevy. The 55 is getting a straight axle here this fall and I am doing a Gasser. It’s has a strong full roller aluminum head 383 SBC. Car runs low 12’s. So I consider putting it in that with fender wall heads. I could also put it in my 56 wagon. It would just be a mild build for that ring bearing and some port work. Either way I want iron heads vs aluminum for the nostalgic look!!!
