This past weekend Bo, Denny Ford, Allen George, and I were Racing among 52 other Super Stock cars. This was a good size field of Mopar & Fords and few other Chevys. The weather was great but hot. We had one time trial on Sunday the old fashion way with a flagman. That was very cool.

In the first round Bo beat me. Bo had dialed a 12:10 to my 11: 80. I went 11:63 to his 12:30. Denny also won his first round, but I’m not sure what Allen did. The second round Bo and Denny won again. Good job, but in the third round they both lost. Both of them should not have lost, but they each let off at the end. They did not realize how close the other cars were to them. We all had fun.

By the way Phil, that is Dave Strickler's Z-11 not Grumpy's. Grumpy worked on it for Dave, Dave owned it just as he did with all of the Old Reliable's. This fact seems to get blurred as the years go by....
