I shot base and clear as paint instruction . I followed all time delay for clear to be applied. I mixed all as directed .I am sure the black color will show that haze. I have shot Daytona blue laquer on my son's 64 years ago and never had that haze,no clear.I shot my 55 Chevy ( don't have anymore dang it)in base clear in a firemist red and never saw any haze in it. I have looked at factory painted black vehicles in black and they do not appear a deep looking black as we're the older black laquer cars back in the day. I guess I am to picky maybe.

No, it's a half ton 6 bolt wheels.
I have one out of a 47 half ton but it just wasn't going to work.
This one is out of a 55 task force truck. Looks like it would work much better.
