NOT A GOOD DAY

Spent the morning at the Vet with the family dog- OREO- she a Shih -Tzu. 18.5 years old. She been sick and today we had to put her down. Very sad she was like my fourth kid . We took her everywhere and did everything with her. Its like loosing a family member!! So now we just have the memories . Should get her ashes back in about a week and then I will let the kids decide what they want to do. Was blessed to have her for so long!!!!!!!

You raise your kids, you raise your pets, both are a big part of a person's life. The best part is, they all give back. Sorry about your buddy.

My "Westy Mix was 20 and our All black Shepard was 12 and our Shepard Lab mix was 18.
It's not fun

Sorry Mike, I can't say anything that the other guys haven't already said. Sorry for your loss. I do think you have it in perspective though............. The fact that you realize the joy that she gave you for those 18 plus years, That was her gift to you.
