Hello All,
I just purchased 3 complete 348 engines (1) 1959 and (2) 1960. There was an original breather included with the purchase and appears to be a 1959-1960 with one hole in the lid. The question I have is the base has a place for bolts in all three carb locations. I know the 1958 models had a bolt on each side with nothing in the middle. Is this the way the base was for 1959/60 or has this been modified? Also curious what you guys think I should do about restoring this for possible resale. Go with professional powder coating, professional repainting or leave as is? Thanks in advance for any responses.
