Painted the 63 (again)

I got the 63 painted again today, It's close enough; especially with Bowling Green 3 weeks away. I finally figured out why this car has given me such a hard time for the last 20 years.
In 1973 I was driving a 68 Camaro to school, I found a 69 Z/28 that I really needed; my mom made a deal with me that if I'd break up with my girl friend, they would loan me the $600 to make the trade- no brainer, huh?
There was another girl in school who, like most teenage girls back then, wanted me BAD. Although she was cute, I steered away because she was 12 or 13. A couple of years later she married the guy who owned this 63, he was a few years older than me. In 1996 we bought the car from him and I'm thinking she put a curse on it to teach me a lesson.
Tomorrow I start putting stuff back on the car, it may not be as complete as I want it but it will be in Bowling Green.

Looking good!

I always thought the fun part was when you put the trim and brightwork back on :).

See you in BG!
