Not sure where in ontario you are?Noticed I’m missing door handles. Window cranks galore though. Have to suffice for now. Would buy a pair if anyone has
Been up to Thunder Bay many times, amd yes the MCCN event is awesome, there with a friends LS6 on display. The pontiac will blow there minds, chevy drivetrain and chassis in a poncho....canadian only ehI'm in Thunder Bay. The goal for now is to assemble the car enough to make it run and drive. I want to attend the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in Chicago come November with it in the Barn Finds section. If you've never been, it's a blast. We had our '68 Petty road runner there a few years ago pre Covid.
Numbers on the block match the car. That is AMAZING! It's your car, but there are only 1 of those blocks, I wouldn't abuse it.Don't see a M20. But there is a CSL-14G which GMVVS was pretty interested in. I have a letter from George Zapora from 1996 when the previous owner authenticated it. And yes, the number on the block matches the car. Transmission not so much, it's a Muncie M20.
I freshened it up with new standard rings and bearings. It was quite nice inside. A few passes with a Sunnen hone was enough. It was a puzzle when we first got the car that the odometer showed 99 k and the motor was so mint inside. Came to find that the car was ran for years with a 327 and the 09 was sold. The previous owner tracked it down in an Impala and bought it for the engine.
