power steering pump

[1962/409/Imp]

I'm looking a converting my drive belt system on my 1962 409 impala to a serpentine belt system. my question is will the new modern power steering pump on these systems work with the power assist on my impala or will they make to much pressure

I believe you just use the pressure valve and spring out your old pump in the new one.
