Progress on my 60 el camino

Well I dont think I have posted much anything about my 60 el camino and I think its about time I did.

I am currently 2 months into this project.

I believe the car is 100%, well pretty close if not, ready to have the body taken off. I was able to pull and sell the engine that was in there to a guy who used to be my neighbor for 35 bucks. All the glass is pulled out, and I didnt even break the back glass. And I've been doing a little sanding/scotchbrighting.

And most importantly I have been saving my pennies for a nice W block, if I am reading these numbers right I will be lucky to have a nice 348 :coffee:

Nice project, remind me of my 1960 biscayne when i got it . my restoration is coming slowly but i'am getting there, i will post some picture soon.

Mullet, have you decided on a color? Are you going to stay with the original blue?
