Questions about pan sizes

While cutting this 4 door 1962 Bel Air up into pieces, I couldn't help but notice how decent the pans were in the body. While not perfect, they might be usable in one of my "lesser" restorations. I have a tendency to save nearly EVERYTHING (a "parts packrat" if you will...) and have lots of remote storage space. For example, I removed and plan to store the 4 doors -- now who will ever need those (not me!)?

So here's the question: will those pans currrently residing in the 4 door car fit in a 1961 Bel Air 2 door sport coupe? I was thinking that there had to be some modifications to the rear section to accomodate the different seats, but upon examination, they look real close in terms of dimensions. Plus in the various catalogs (Sinclair, Impala Bob's, and so forth) there doesn't seem to be a designation for 2 door versus 4 door when it comes to pans.

Does anyone know from experience whether these are a match?

Thanks in advance,

Tom K
