I guess Weber USA made the Edelbrock ones? I'll have to check my 74 Nova, it may still have one on it. Whatever it is, it works pretty well or I would have changed it by now. I do know CA gas eats the accelerator pump up every couple of years.

That number Carter Quadrajet looks to be from a '67 327 275 horse. I have somewhere in my core box a 7041202,made for GM by Carter. That one came off a '71 402 300 horse engine in a '71 Monte Carlo. Sometimes, OEM sources needed to outsource in order to meet demand. Another oddity, my folks had a 70 Mercury Colony Park Estate wagon with a 429 and a 2 barrel. Once the starter went out, so when I pulled the starter, it had a GM Hi Torque starter and solenoid with a nose casting that adapted the block mounted GM starter to the Ford C-6 bell housing. It had a stamped steel bridge from the battery cable post to the terminal on the solenoid that activated the starter, and the solenoid that ran the starter was on the inner fender just like any other Ford application. Weird crossbreeding of parts.
All of you who build Quadrajets, I use QuadrajetParts.com as a very good online source for parts, they also carry the accelerator pump plungers and the needle and seats that don't turn to mush in the current calipornia gasoline blends. Quadrajet Parts also is a good source for brass floats. Parts stores have a problem getting carb parts any more, let's face it, a '66 Chevy 327 or 396 is 55 years old right now. Scary, huh?
