Hi everyone I'm new here, and have a 1960 brookwood 2 door wagon. I am unable to find out from anyone how many cars like mine were built? I have decoded the vin and I know that I got a 1960, Chevy, 1100 Brookwood, w/6 Cylinder 250 cid, 2 door wagon, made in St.louis with VIN # 01115S******. But I have not been able to find out how many of this modle were ever made. I have listed every thing I found on this car. But with no luck but nailing down that there were "14,663" 2 door wagons made total. Help!

Thanks for the reply Mike :clap I didn't know if there were 2 door nomads, parkwoods, kindswoods, and brookwoods. If Chevy just made brookwood 2 doors in 1960 can anybody verify this?:dunno That would tell me that all 14663 made would be brookwoods. :scratch Thanks for any help.

Although not the absolute authority but a pretty good reference, Colvin's 60-64 By The Numbers, page 20 shows the 2 door wagon only in the Brookwood model.

Thanks Cecil,
That would make my car the rarest of all modle made that year from the numbers of production. I hope it will rise in price because the vaules are kind of stale right now on wagons. Any body know how many v-8 and 6 cyl were made? or are there any number on that kind of break down?
Andrew

Totals - includes both 6 cyl. & V-8: 1960 year

Actually the '60 Sedan Delivery was the lowest production with only 5310 produced ;) .
