Re and re inner fenders

...anyone ever re and re inner fenders on a 66 full size Impala...........I did it to our 66 about 20 years ago
and recently took them out (read struggle) to do some repair............but don't remember having trouble before...now have problems getting them back in .................have jammed 'em a couple times and did a lot of
swearing...................any suggestions......

Take the wheel off first…….are you trying to remove them from the outside or inside?

........wheel is off.........car is on jack stands.........were removed from the outside last year.......trying to
install from the outside but they are not being very co-operative.........
