Rim offset confusion

Lay the rim on a smooth surface facing up. Measure from the floor to the hole in the center of the rim. This is the rim offset or back spacing.
Wheel back space and wheel offset are two different things. I like to use backspace in all my wheel measurements for fitment.

Yes, my way is backspace, I have to read every time to get the terms correct, but I know enough to measure in the right place. I always get the job done, one way or the other.

The best way is with a ladder, OSHA. Approved of course, and a feather duster. My way is with the concussion of the Springfield Arms 45. I suggest you pull the curtains on the windows of said room and throw a moving blanket over the big screen. Ear protection assures you will be able to speak with law enforcement if your in earshot of nervous neighbors. Use any appliance or a frozen turkey for a backstop.
