All this is too much!:overheat:barf I wish I would have found this website about 25 years ago, not sure how long it's been around but probably not 25 years. Lol you guys are getting me all riled up. I've been around hot rods and race cars my whole life I've hung out at tracks and gone to the racetrack for years we buildlt race cars. Been to National events all over the country but I never really knew much about history of the z-11 or the mystery 427s. It's pretty crazy and if it wasn't for you guys, "all of you guys" I probably still wouldn't know. I even own a 63 four-door sedan that was my aunt's for a while. She gave it to me and I got it running and stopping. Ended up giving it to my son and he traded it in on an S10. I guess if I had one more car to buy it would probably be a 63 and I don't really care if it's a Impala, Biscayne, or Bel-Air. Every time I go over to Tom Kantankerous's man cave my thoughts and ideas just run wild! I'm sure that there is a 63 or possibly a 62 or even maybe a 61 flattop in my future. I really would like to get the 409 built and get the 31 Chevy together because I would love to come and play with you guys !!!!!!!!!
And unless something catastrophic happens I will be at the racetrack for sure next year!:drive PS it might not be the prettiest, slickest, or shiniest but I'll guarantee you it will be damn fast!

Our 409 class is being sponsored by Firelands Chevrolet Buick. Everybody that was there last year enjoyed it and thought it was a great track. we got lots of runs in and the weather is pretty decent that time of the year. The event is from August 23-25th with arrival and parking on the 22nd if you want to get there early. They have bands on Friday and Saturday and this event is only going to get bigger. Let’s make an impression they won’t forget! Message me here or in a pm and I’ll put you on the list. Let’s get some east coasters on the list too we miss you guys.
Here's the phone number for golf car rental the track gave me. 440-775-1300 C&C Sales, Overland. You may want to put that number with the other track info you post from time to time??

The following prices are for a 4 person car.

Saturday and Sunday $175

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday $275

Russ Campbell will be bringing the Jackshaw built Z11 car. Dennis Jackson will have the New York Shaker clone car with original Z11 parts. Hank Gabbert will have the Good Ole Mr. WIlson Z11 there as well.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR PREREGISTRATION AS LONG AS IT'S POSTMARKED TODAY OR I THINK TOMORROW. You can call Gari at 719-248-4354 tomorrow.

UPDATE!!!!! Show cars will be able to park with the race cars. If we're parked in the same area we will park the show cars in front of our trucks. The only issue with parking with the 409s is your car may not be judged because it's not in the judging area. For our Z11 guys if you want to just drive the cars down the track to lead up to us running the heads up race on Saturday evening I'll need a short write up on your cars for the announcer to talk about them.
