I cut out the xframe and welded a plate on the bottom....probably about 15 inches....got a 400r for a trans but used a cadillac tail shaft which is longer to beat the critical speed problem...got a 3-1/2 driveshaft.....took two inches out of the rear springs and had to strap the rear down some not much....got a 64 ss...383 stroker..200 shot nitrous and trans brake no rubbing.....turn 11.78...115....still got all the interior in the car
