Hate to see another one go.

What is the speculation? Will it become an auction facility?

Land taxes too high and complaining from surounding home owners are shutting down a lot of tracks. Also the cost to run at the track, and just pass thru the gate as a spectator have risen dramally. We have one left in Tucson AZ, and is on county land. Too bad.....

Great bend shut down this season . Was redone but track is flaking and not level. Contractor has passed away ,no company anymore so now trying to get funds to redo track if ever. May never happen.I raced there in the 63 64 season till I decided to just watch, much cheaper.
