Well,
I finally talked my boss into putting screw in studs on his 690 heads. Does anyone know the exact part number that is used? We are also adding better rocker arms.

Thanks
Donnie

:scratch Are you going to have the bosses cut or are you just tapping and putting the 3/8 threaded replacement from Show Cars?

Be sure to get the longer stud!!!! You have to have threads past the roll pin holes or you will have a major water leak!!! And be sure to put RTV or some sealant on ALL the threads that screw in. Just to keep the water where it belongs.

Don't ask me how I know this!!

Bosses are getting milled off and tapped below the roll pin. I already have my heads done, but do not have the part number for the studs we used. It was decades ago. Thought someone might know the number so I could just grab them at Summit this weekend.

Thank you as always

Donnie: If you're gonna use 3/8 studs, ARP-134-7104 is right length.:)

These should be fine for any hyd.cam .Over 300 open will pretty much kill the cam on a flat tapper set up,from what I've read and heard.
