Side Trim Painting

Greetings, All

The paint on the side moulding for my Bel Air . . .isn't there. The metal has been cleaned of any trace of paint! This isn't by any means tragic, as it looks pretty good that way, but it's not As It Should Be.

So, what kind of paint should I use? What process? As in, priming, etc.

Hi there, not sure but it probly was originally enamel without primer. My guess would be to just make sure it's real clean first. Even plastic model enamel would probly work, I've used it before. Hope this helps a bit.
