I don't think any of the 962 blocks had the double notch at the top of the cylinder.:scratch As far as I know they all had the single notch. That's a good thing because the double notch really lowers the compression.
It's been said that some of the 962 and 355 blocks had thicker cylinder walls that could be bored out as far as a 409 block but we had a thread on that topic and I don't think anybody actually had one of those thicker blocks. If they exist they're not common.
I have a 962 block block and the cylinder walls are the same thickness as any other 348.
