Speedometer is short after swap.

This is probably been done many times...so here goes. Looking for a total length speedo cable after the M20 munice installed. It is a '62 that went from a P/GL to the M20 4-speed. I am short due to the cable connection on the passenger side. I am thinking 83" will do it, or I can get a 20" extension cable that will reach from the stock cable. Any recommendations for a cable?

You could get a tail shaft housing with a drivers side speedo drive.

A 83 inch full length cable will work for the passenger side on Muncies.
run the cable over the top of the transmission( do not run it under the transmission). Also the cable still lays on top of the frame
my Muncie 4 speed and Richmond 5 speeds have 83 inch or 90 inch Speedometer cables.
Show Cars has part # 7380 for a 83” cable, I just installed one, fit perfectly.

The tail shaft would work, not not hap-en this go-round....thanks...
