Tachometer ID and wiring

Picked this tach up at a swap meet. Anybody recognize it? It's only got two wires, I'm assuming one power wire, one signal wire and it grounds through the body? Thoughts?

I bought one identical to the pictures at a swap meet and was told it was 60s ford mustang.

This thing is aftermarket,peroid.The factory Fo2d tach.'s would not have had ab 8000 rpm face,would not have had a pointer,and would have had a third wire for dimming the light in conjunction.If your running anything but points ignition,it may not work as the electronics would be incompatable.
