Good oil,but is non degerent, meaning very frequent changes.

Let's hope you don't need to test them.
James, the vac gauge I can use to rebuilt the quad jet I’m doing for the 454 going in the international
The compression one I will use on the old Jeep engine I’m doing for Don M’s Neighbor Abe. I want to check it before I take it apart and make sure the rings are good.
The leak down one was part of the kit. Ironically my 454 In my 66 is hard starting with bluish smoke. Clears up when warm so I may use it on that to rule out rings. Maybe a valve seal in one hole letting oil in.

You need to update your signature Tim.

How many miles on the 454, maybe rings not yet seated? Although those burnouts you did should have helped seat rings.
