I've been attending a veterans breakfast at a local place for many years. Always a good program, local band and breakfast of course! Years ago the facility was packed and if arrived a bit late it was tough to find a seat. This year instead of hundreds I doubt there was 40-50. Last year I couldn't attend so not sure of attendance. But anyway sad how rapidly numbers are declining as I can recall not too many years ago how many from the WWII era were sitting together and now no one.
