I've been reading this book about the cars a lot of us grew up with. There sure were a lot more dual quad and tri-power cars built out there than i knew about. Of course Chevy, MoPar, and Ford were at the top of the list, but i was suprised what Pontiac offered back then. Never knew they made a dual quad 421cu/405hp that would run in the low 12's and 116mph. It says some of the Catalinas in 61/62 had aluminum factory built front-ends. Wonder what one of those Catalinas would be worth now? My first new car was a 68 Nova 325hp/327. The book doesn't mention that option?? Sure wish i had the money then to buy 8 or 10 of those Muscle Cars back in the day. No one worried about the price of gas at 30 cents either.
