Hey i'm Mark , my mates just call me Tippo. I live on the Sth Coast of Australia. New to the forum but not new to Chevs . I've owned my 62 Impala 4 door hardtop for 30 years also have a 62 Belair 4 door sedan and my next build will be a 62 Biscayne 2 door sedan which will be my first w powered car. Look forward to learning heaps.

Thanks Dave, don't know what your talking about the steering wheels on the right side! The Biscaynes got me stumped somebody went and stuck it on the left.

Hey Don , They are all running big blocks at the moment. The Biscayne will be a 348. The Pontiac was ordered by an Australian serviceman based in New York. So was factory RHD built in Canada. It drove around New York for quite a number of years before being shipped to Oz. Would have been a strange sight back then. The original owner kept every bit of paperwork for the car right up to the 80's so I even have a copy of the original letter he sent to GM requesting the car and a copy of the original cheque he purchased it with.

Notice the wipers, their like Pontiac... Must be the way Canadian build plant did it.

Then look at Dons 63 Canadian Pontiac, wipers are like US Chevrolet.



And them my 64 Catalina is typical Pontiac


And my 60 Ventura is the same.

Canadian exports 61 through 64 had the wipers like that, it actually also shows it in the build manuals,
61-64 Canadian exports also had 61 Pontiac dashes.
