One thing I learned over the years is whenever there is something odd with the electrical, check ALL grounds first. Bad grounds can make weird things happen.

both sides, this is a new wiring harness

I'm in agreement with Skip.It sounds like a bad flasher.Are you using regular bulbs?

thanks for you help, new flasher worked. you do not think of a new flasher with a new wire harness being bad. thanks again. I can now sit down with a cold brew

I'm not surprised. Now a days poor quality parts are rampant. To many bean counters and greedy people. I bought a brand new ( not reman) master cylinder the other day and it leaked thru the casting. Poor final testing or none at all. We need to expose all these poor quality parts suppliers and drive them out of business. The master cylinder was purchased at O' Reilly's, BrakeBest distributed by Ozark Automotive with a Bendix casting logo.
