Update on BA 409

I think we now have new updated plans for the transmission, a TH400 that James has from another project.

Same idea for the engine, though, a 460 cubic inch stroker based on a 409 truck block and 583 iron heads.

I'll let James tell the story :).

We're kinda waiting for me to get radiant heat and more lighting for the lower section of the Manshed. Then we remove the engine from the SS car and take it apart for inspection. Hopefully just a refreshening and back together with the Ross pistons, etc. New cam solutions forthcoming. Probably gonna go with the 881 intake and carbs now on the BA409 car. Add 1" spacers and try to provide more fresh air to the carbs:).

Naming a car would be tough. I would hate to have the same names as someone else. Thankfully, my car already had the name so that took care of that problem.

Well on the third day I cough the brown truck and now have my cam.
nana is being kind enough to send his stud girdle so I can pattern them and use them tell I can get some made.
Need to get lifters on the way then I can play.
