again, is anyone sure of the cars whereabouts? I heard it might be in CT from a pretty credible source

The short story to all this is probably during the 1950s and and 1960s GM felt their racing programs and their success and the notoriety it caused just wasn't worth it. Simply.... it wasn't good for business.

Richard, Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, your write-up is very informative. History has a tendency to repeat itself, unfortunately our government has and will always meddle in issues they have no right to be messing with.

Not that the current administration cares about the Constitution anyway, but if it had been written in the early 1900's maybe they could have said Separation of Church and Cars and State. :D
