Valve cover clearance over roller rockers

Hey team. Aaron here from down in New Zealand. Just building a 409 and seeking advice on roller rockers. I have a really nice pair of original 63 chrome valve covers and want to know if the covers will clear the rockers; the drippers have been removed. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you

What heads are you using? 690’s should be ok the small ports will need the thick gaskets as above or glue two regular together if you have them.

I have non dripper chrome value covers on my 690 heads and they clear my roller rockers. That is why I bought them since they would clear
and be able to use roller rockers (I have to see what type of rollers I have -its been about 5 years since the motor was finished.

I’ve used Scorpion, Crane gold, Comp and others. They all fit under stock nondripper covers with large port heads. The Scorpions used to have some made just for the end rockers that have a taper.
