Pic of one of my door slammers. Ermine White/green interior ‘62 Sport Belair circa 1987 at Sacramento Raceway. WCTA Nostalgia Drags Stock stroke 409 with +.060 Forged True pistons, Crower 100R M/T Xram, 750 comp series AFB, Joe Hunt Vertex, Hooker 1-7/8” Comp Headers, McCleod “Long style” clutch/ fiberglass disc, Chrysler 2.66 low 4 spd,, Hurst Super Shifter, ‘57 Olds, Richmond 4.88s, Strange spool. Rear 4 link control arms extended 2-1/2” and fully boxed to accommodate 10.50-30-15 Goodyears on 8-1/2x15” Drag Stars so as to not modify wheel wells 1-1/2 coils cut on one side to preload chassis. Fronts 5.60-26-15 Front Runners on 15x3-1/2 Drag Stars. ‘62 Station Wagon front springs. Gabriel 90/10 shocks. Best 1/4 mi ET 11.73 @ 113 MPH. Very consistent


Wish I still had this car. Sold minus running gear Car then got cut up and pro streeted. Painted red / red. Ruined a grand old Belair IMHO. I went out of my way not to destroy this car and some fool with more money than brains … well you get the idea.

A buddy and I were joking around when I began restoration of my fast road MGTD

My injected 09 sitting in from of the body tub preparing for paint. I just may end up building a MG Altered out of spare MG parts someday. But that will be a back burner project as I want to get going on my ‘62 SS 409/409 that has been locked away for 40 years. IMG_5083.jpeg

Here are a couple of pics of my 61 Impala SS drag car when I was in high school. These pics are from the early ‘70s when a previous owner had it.
