You didn't have to say that. I am attempting to gather pieces to do a L72 clone. It may just be a correct looker with incorrect #'s.
The only holy grail part that i am aware of is the infamous idler. I snagged one of those 30 years ago. It's somewhere in my collection, I just have to find it!

Somewhere in my pubs is a list of parts for a 66 L-72 engine that I had when I was restoring my 66 Corvette. I'll look for it if it might be of interest. Meanwhile you might find this info interesting. I believe it is a listing of HD parts for the 66 L-88 coversion.
