Thought I'd share some pics of what I diid this weekend. Spent most of the day preping and powder coating a few items for the 64. The valve covers were a real pain to do in two colors, but I'm happy with the results. The first pic shows the first step of taping off the script for the black color. After partly curing that, I cooled the piece and remove the tape, then back to the oven for a full cure. After cooling again, I laid on the silver powder. It was such a pain to sweep off the powder from off the script without touching the rest of the cover. After that it was back to the oven again for the final cure.
Also in the pic is the gas filler tube, thought I'd do that while the oven was hot.
Earlier I powder coated the bumper jack parts and tire iron, but no pics of them.

I like the valve covers!!
did you just mask over the script and cut out around the raised script?
looks great!:cheers
