Yeah but it looked nice. I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen in that ole car, jerks probably found a 348 car to destroy. Some nice wheels get her up in the air a few more inch's, some loud pipes so you can annoy your neighbors hell they'd probably think you was driving something with a big ole 409!!

I'd still take it. Split manifold multiple carbs or that 632 c.i. short block hog block that Summit sells for just a shade under $4998. and people wouldn't remember how many doors you had on it after you got done blowing their's off

Just saw this video for the first time. That '59 folded like a cheap lawn chair. Anyone know how fast these cars were going upon contact?? I would think about 50-60 mph for that damage, Carmine.

The outcome was rigged. As I recall, they removed the inner fenders from the 59 and look at the lineup on the hit. It wasn't straight on but off center so the major impact on the 59 was closer to the A pillar that crumpled.

It would have held up a little better if it had a perimeter frame instead of the X frame.
