What do you use to move the snow? This Polaris 4 x 4 with a power super winch controller is awesome for moving snow. I have had it for about seven years now and man my neighbors get their driveways belated too. Show everybody what you used to remove snow. The snowfall was about 6 to 8 inches.

That does a quick Job for sure . Living in the city that is just way to big to navigate in my drive way or even the sidewalks. I was just giving you a hard time on the go cart name. Ha ,Ha. I just have a small walk behind ,not even propelled, it just seems to pull itself in the snow. I can lift it with one hand. Bought used knew the guy that had it,paid $125.00 at least 15 years ago.In snow anything taller than blower i have to just take a few more swipes at it. I have not needed to use it yet this season ,only a couple of dustings of snow. Picture is similar to what i have.

My driveway is about 3500', and that doesn't include the area in the front of the house. I use a Kubota 23 HP tractor with a 50" snowblower on the driveway and the front of the house. 6 - 8 inches of snow I can blow it away qickly, but it is when we get the blizzards are when it gets tough. For than I have a 1979 Ford F250 4 wheel drive dump truck. I prefer to blow away the snow rather than have it mounded on the side edges of the drivewy, because once it freezes, the driveway tends to get narrower with each storm. I learned to plow a very long time ago, and I enjoy it. My Kubota has a cab and a heater, and it is just a matter of going back and forth until it is done. No doubt that you can make quick work of the fluffy snow the way that you do it, but when it gets to wet and heavy snow, around here, you need a heavier machine to move it. Your 4 wheeler, looks like a fun machine to have.

When I moved here in 2012 the first three snows we had were no less than 14 inches and we’re heavy and wet. If I stay on it and it doesn’t get deeper than 15 inches I have no problem just rolling it over out-of-the-way. But like you said it tends to build up overtime with multiple snows if it doesn’t melt. I have pushed as much as 24 inches with it. In these pictures it was about 18 inches deep. But not nearly as cold as it is right now.

Allis-Chalmer 710 with a cobbled cab, John Deere 216 and a 10hp MTD walk behind. And the newest addition is the John Deere 4310(only used to move the big snow piles).IMG_20210219_074048.jpgIMG_20210219_065456.jpgIMG_20210219_065504.jpg
We've always had snowblowers. I'm not a fan of plows. After a couple of snow storms, you can run out of room, like Junky said.

After I blow the snow, then I go over the driveway with the plow to get the rest of the snow off. About 10 years ago, we had a bad ice storm, and it left the driveway with about 1/2" of ice over the snow cover. Using the down pressure of the plow, I was able to get it to bare pavement.

You guys make me look i dont have anything!!!! I used to shovel all that i have one over size single drive way from house to street about 20 feet , some front porch and aproach, and a triple rear driveway to garage from street about 24 feet. I am on a corner lot. Trailer sets on one side so i dont have to do that section. I bought this blower about 15 years ago it is better than shoveling now that i am older. We really dont get that much snow ,so the small one suits my needs I learned the hard way you dont leave oil and gas mixture in tank when setting over a year. I got ready to blow snow one year and it would not start. I had to remove carb and clean it out. Now i drain tank and run it till it die's. Like i said the highest drifts i have to wittle at those but still not to bad . I like it because it hardly takes any room in my lawn shed.
