My impala project came with the interior stripped of door panels. I was told when ordering new ones, I have to supply top rails that go inside the panel at the top of the door. Not sure if they show, what they are made of, (steel/alum/stainless). or what they look like. They might be in the boxes of parts. I'm thinking they are
still in the long lost original panels. Anyone have a picture or can describe what these parts look like. There are pair for both door and quarter window panels. Thanks, Larry

Larry, the top rails are a part of the door panel. They are made of sheet metal and wrap around the top of the door.

Ciadella's has them. http://www.ciadellainteriors.com/1961ih.html
