They came with 14 inch tires from the factory, people put everything on them now, I have seen 20s on some. Most people here use 15 inch tires or larger because there is a limited supply of nicer 14 tires, unless you are building a restored correct car. There are plenty of threads on the subject, use the search box at the upper right hand corner of the forum page.

Thanks. I need new tires and want to put on bigger tires and wheels. I was looking for a larger white wall tire and a wider 14" wheel so I could keep my SS hubcaps on the car, but can't find anything bigger than a 215X70R 14" tire. I'm thinking that I"ll probably just get a new wheel/tire package (16 or 17 inch wheels and appropriate tires) and just keep the ones I have to put on if I want to go back to the original look at some time.
