Yes thats why I mentioned the UMTR series a couple times ,all stick shift cars, yes they break alot but its ALOT more exiting

The guys on the umtr forum that have adjustable clutches don't break many
parts. If the clutch is set up correctly.

I'm really hoping so Skip....I have a guy ready to start on the trans as soon as I tell him to (and give him money) so its just a money thing more than anything right now. I ran out of time to get my rebuilt third member in the car before I put the car into storage but that'll be the first thing I do when I pull it back out in April. I'd be rowin sooner if I could afford it

Good topic! I run a Muncie 4 speed and in-line v-gate shifter. Had allot of folks at the track asking why a 4 speed and not a auto.

Cause real men shift for themselves!
