Z11 engine

This might be a long shot or it might be really easy!

In the mid 90s my Dad sold this engine to the guy in the picture. I didn't fully appreciate it back then, but I came across the pictures recently.

Does anyone know who this is in the picture? If I recall correctly, this engine went into a red z11 in the Detroit area. I'm mostly curious to know which car it is.

I can remember seeing his name in the back of late great Chevy magazines back in the day in the parts section …….was he from Michigan

That stuff is all long gone in another car I'm sure. Scott had a nice Z11 coming together a white one. Just saw him last year and said he sold all his 409 stuff. he was at the spring Monroe Mi swap meet.

He must have been pretty good at negotiating... from what I was told it took several years for the deal to happen.

Dad never parted with anything else 409 related for the rest of his life and Scott still has a shirt on his back!!
