1958 Chevrolet Factory Air Conditioning Evaporator Box or suitcase as some call it. Impala Bel Air Biscayne Delray Nomad Brookwood. Condition is "Used".
Extremely hard to find and sought after part.
Fits all models of 58 Chevrolet passenger cars with the factory air conditioning option.
Hot gas valve included, blower motor is included but is NOT the correct one . Hoses will NOT be included.
Needs to be restored but overall the case is in good condition for the age. There is some minor damage as you see to the round port. That can be easily repaired and would not be visible when the hose is installed.
This is a very sought after part that is NOT reproduced. Ask yourself when was the last time you saw one come up for sale?
Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. Local pickup is welcome and encouraged. I will crate it and ship on a pallet. dock to dock using other common carriers. Last one shipping from Chicago to LA was approx $275. I would also drop off to Bill Oldenburg if he is going to be restoring it for you.
