Hello everyone! I have a 1979 Caprice Classic that I am parting out. It has a 305 cid with a turbo 350 transmission. It also has a HEI distributor. I plan on taking out of this car the transmission and the distributor. I really don't have a use for the engine, but I was wondering, is there anything else worth taking out? Rear end, front disc brakes,cruise control or anything else worth the effort? Thanks for replying!

What I would do is to go to ebay and type in 79 Caprice (and any similar searches) to see if any parts from these cars are selling. That way, you might make a few bucks on some of the other parts. That's what I do when I find something in the bone yards that I'm unsure about.
A perfect example would be a 79 Ford Ranchero I recently found. Who knew that the remote door mirrors would sell for $102.50? Or the left front park lens for $50? That's just 2 sales from this car that did extremely well, there were many other parts I sold.
