2023 National Impala Association Convention

Finally! We are pleased to announce that the 2023 National Impala Association Convention will be held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this coming July 24-28 at the Wyndham Gettysburg. We will be publishing registration forms in the next issue of Impala News, which will be out later in February. They will also be available online shortly.

Our initial New Jersey location for the 2023 convention ultimately did not work out, necessitating a change of venue. We wish to thank our “East Coast Guys,” Mike Berry and Frank Visco, from the Jersey Late Great Chapter for their diligent work on this year’s convention and the ultimate move to Gettysburg.

The Gettysburg area has a tremendous amount to do and we will be highlighting some as part of the convention previews. There’s more information to come.

Gettysburg is a neat town. Lots of Civil War history, plenty to do if you are interested in American history. There is an 1/8th mile track not too far from there, South Mountain Dragway. I wonder if they thought of talking to the track about a day there. When they did New Jersey in 2012 they had a night at Atco Raceway. Maple Grove would be about an hour and a half away. Beaver Springs and Cecil County are probably 2 hours away also.
