In this case, it looks like Duct tape is your best bet. I'd tell my boss "I'm not delivering this box". No way in hell I want my name on that delivery.Good news...it'll buff out.
If you look at my first post there are pictures of the heads the way I got them from Bob, I gave him my hydraulic roller cam shaft specs he sent the heads complete and set up for the proper spring pressures. I also order a timing chain that has a lower gear that fits a 3.76 stroke big block Chevy crank.Did you buy ready to run heads from Bob or bare ones? I am thinking about getting a set of his for a 656 truck block I will build when block comes back from machine shop? My checkbooks is trying to recover from my last purchase from him lol
Nothing, just trying to decide if I want them on the Race Car or the Shop Truck. They are a really nice pair and I have a nice pair of Edelbrock’s too. Jeff is modifying the eddy’s, we will see how they come out. What's wrong with the valve covers you have on it now? I would gladly swap you a nice pair of Moon finned covers for them.
She looks nice setting next to the car. Should put her in the car and get some more photos. I'd like to make a special request to have you turn her around and get some more pictures of her backside! NOW MOVE THIS THREAD TO "CHICKS". SHE'S HOT!Finished the 348 stroker and brought it to the shop, installed oil filter adapter for a screw on filter and primed the oil pump. 58/60 psi with an electric drill running 700rpm. Now I'll dig out the run stand and make a few upgrades. Now it's all bolt on goodies. Not set on valve covers yet, Jeff is up to something with a pair.we'll see what morphs from that. I feel great about this little 409. No matter what happens I will stay on it till it's perfect, and runs like a dreammmmm...View attachment 106775View attachment 106776View attachment 106777View attachment 106778
