44 Years Ago Today

[Iowa 409 Guy]

We got hitched at the Justice of the Peace. 25 below zero that day............I got the best end of the deal.....and she robbed the cradle. Went on a honeymoon we couldn't afford, to Dubuque Iowa, about 100 miles away. Stayed Saturday and Sunday night and went back home Monday, back to work Tuesday.

Started out with a ready made family from her first marriage. A year and a half old son and a 3 and a half year old daughter. He first husband must have been a real a$$hole if she got rid of him and stuck with me. She was a beautician when we met. She had a bank bag she always carried around with quite a bit of money in it.....I thought she was loaded......until I found out she was saving up for her divorce........
