I stole this pic a guy on the trifive board, taken mid-late 70's. He built it early 70's with a 301/muncie/5.13 posi. This thing is bitchin.

Not quite a '55, but this car was owned by my pal Roger Jetter in the late 60's, I think this pic was taken in '68 in Denver. 327/4-speed/4.11's. I dig the wheels:cool:

I had a model car that was just like that back in the 80's.....wonder if he did too and finally was able to build the real thing? It had the same Halibrand wheels, straight axle, induction, fenderwell headers, long ladder bars, etc. I can't remember if it was a 409 or not. I didn't know a 283 from a 348 from a 454 back then.
