58 Chevy 409 Delray business couple, great for the drags.

Sounds like you've got a stroked (482 cu in) 409 by the way it runs!

It is a 460 inch 409 truck block. .100 over bore and a 3.75 stroke.

Around 10.1 with a McQuillen 2x4 intake with a pair of 625 cfm Carter AFBs.

The 3.36 gears explain your awesome 117 MPH but to get an 11.23 you must be using an automatic, right? Fly cut your pistons because they peaked a little above the deck, me too. What cam did you go with?

Yes running a TH350 transmission. Car has 4.56 rear gear. The cam is a Isky solid flat tappet with .590 lift.
