'61 Impala grill bar HELP

I found a nice grill bar for my Impala. It doesn't have the mechanism for the hood latch. Is it a cable or a rod that goes through the hole to the hood release ??? Does anyone have a picture of the knob/handle that goes on it. Can you buy that knob/handle aftermarket?

who has them? I've been searching websites with no luck. I take it you drill a hole in the existing hood release with a slot of some kind.

Yep has to have a hole in the hood pull lever.
